1-Step vs 2-Step evaluation: which one fits you?

Both Chronos challenges use a 3% daily loss and a 5% static maximum loss. The only difference is how the profit target is split.

1-Step: one phase, 10% target

You reach 10% once and you are done. It is the fastest route to a funded account, but the target is larger relative to the 5% maximum loss: you need a 2:1 reward-to-drawdown ratio overall.

2-Step: 8% then 5%

Each phase has a lower target. Phase 1 needs 8%, Phase 2 needs 5%. The second phase is created instantly when you pass the first, at no extra cost. It takes longer, but each step is easier.

How to choose

  • Trade fewer, larger setups with a high win size? Consider the 1-Step.
  • Prefer steady growth and many small trades? The 2-Step usually suits you better.
  • Not sure? Start with the free trial and measure your average monthly return and largest drawdown.
